Important Information

Payment Methods

  •  FAO Cabinetry accepts cash, credit cards, electronic and physical checks, and Zelle® QuickPay. 
  • We do not accept debit cards. 
  • A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions. Electronic payments are securely processed through Square or Stripe.

Order Confirmation

    • To confirm an order, FAO Cabinetry requires written approval along with a minimum 50% deposit. Please allow up to two (2) business days for processing prior to production. Orders confirmed after 4:30 PM (CST) will be processed on the next business day

Pick-Up

    • For all pick-up orders, please begin at our showroom front desk to receive your delivery slip and complete any remaining balance.
    • Smaller Orders: Proceed to the warehouse area to retrieve your items.
    • Larger Orders: After completing payment and receiving your delivery slip, please move your vehicle to the rear of the warehouse via N 40th Ave (behind Gotti’s Restaurant) for loading.

Curbside Delivery

    • Curbside delivery is our standard delivery service. Orders will be delivered to an accessible area such as a driveway, garage entrance, parking lot, or curbside location. For liability and insurance reasons, items will not be brought into the project site or interior space.
    • FAO Cabinetry drivers are not responsible for unloading or moving cabinets beyond the delivery point. The customer is solely responsible for transporting items into the project area.
    • All outstanding balances must be paid in full at the time of delivery. Delivery will not be completed until payment is received. Upon delivery, customers are responsible for inspecting all items to confirm accuracy and condition.

Free Local Delivery

    • FAO Cabinetry offers complimentary delivery within the following local areas: Stone Park, Melrose Park, Bellwood, Franklin Park, Hillside, and Northlake.
    • Free local delivery is not automatically applied. If your delivery address qualifies, please notify your sales representative to apply the benefit.

Delivery Charges

    • A standard flat-rate delivery fee of $150 applies to most orders. FAO Cabinetry reserves the right to adjust delivery fees based on distance and delivery location.
    • Deliveries to Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana start at $250 and may vary depending on the specific destination.

Natural Wood Variation Disclaimer

  • Certain FAO Cabinetry products feature components made from real wood. As a natural material, wood will inherently exhibit variations in color, grain pattern, texture, and tone. These variations are not defects, but rather distinctive characteristics that enhance the authenticity and beauty of each piece.

  • FAO Cabinetry does not guarantee an exact match in wood grain or coloration across products, samples, or orders.

Renderings & Photography Disclaimer

    • All renderings, images, and photography provided by FAO Cabinetry are intended for illustrative purposes only. While we strive to present our products as accurately as possible, variations in lighting, screen settings, materials, and finishes may result in differences between what is shown and the final product. Actual cabinetry color, texture, and appearance may vary once viewed in person and withing the installed environment. 
    • For the most accurate representation, we strongly recommend visiting our showroom to review physical samples before finalizing your selection. 
    • FAO Cabinetry will not exchange, replace, or accept returns due to color variations. 

Assembly Service

    • FAO Cabinetry provides an assembly service starting at $17/wall & base cabinet and for $21/tall cabinets. Assembly does not mean installation. 

Warranty

    • We do not provide or offer any warranty, express or implied, on cabinets or other products sold by us. Any applicable warranty is provided solely by the respective cabinet manufacturer and is subject to the manufacturer’s terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions. Manufacturer warranties are generally limited to defects in materials and/or workmanship and may not cover installation, labor, misuse, modification, normal wear and tear, or other circumstances specified by the manufacturer. Although we do not provide the warranty ourselves, we will reasonably assist our customers in facilitating and submitting warranty claims to the applicable manufacturer. Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms and limitations. Please refer to our warranty information page for additional details and applicable manufacturer warranty documentation.
    • If the product is sold “AS IS,” it is sold in its current condition, with no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The buyer acknowledges and accepts the product’s condition at the time of purchase and understands that no warranty or guarantee is provided.

Company Name: FURNITURE A OUTLET LLC d/b/a FAO CABINETRY ("Company", "we", "our", or "us")


Orders & Acceptance

  • all orders are subject to acceptance by Furniture A Outlet LLC. Orders are not considered final until confirmed in writing and any required deposit has been received.
  • Furniture A Outlet LLC does not confirm, process, or assemble orders without written customer approval. The customer must review and inspect all quotations for accuracy before approval. We will not be made responsible for any missing items required to complete your project. 
  • Once a quotation is confirmed, the paired invoice supersedes all prior written and oral communication. Any additional materials or services will be billed to the customer.


Pricing & Payments

  • All pricing is subject to change without notice until an order is confirmed. A deposit is required to initiate an order. 
  • Full payment must be received prior to delivery or pick-up. Contractor or trade/commercial accounts with approved terms must adhere to agreed payment schedules. Late payments may be subject to fees and may delay delivery or release of goods.

 

Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Once and order has been confirmed and/or entered into production, it cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded. This includes assembled cabinetry and customized items. Any requested changes prior to production must be approved in writing and may be subject to additional costs and delays.

 

Lead Times & Availability

  • All leads times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to manufacturing, supply chain, or logistical factors beyond our control. Furniture A Outlet is not liable for delays or any resulting project impacts. 


Delivery & Pick-Up

  • Delivery dates are scheduled once orders are confirmed. The customer is responsible for ensuring site accessibility and readiness at time of delivery. Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery or pick-up. Customers or their representative must inspect all items at time of delivery or pick-up.


Inspections at Time of Delivery or Pick-Up

  • The customer is responsible for inspecting that all cabinets are present and in acceptable condition at time of delivery and/or pick-up.
  • Should there be any missing or damaged cabinets, the customer has up to 5 business days to file claim. All claims should be sent to sales@faocabinetry.com. 
  • For flat-box orders: any replacements will be accepted within 9 business days of pick-up or delivery. 
  • Assembled cabinets at FAO Cabinetry go through a second round of quality inspection for damages or defects, this means that FAO Cabinetry will not be made responsible for any damages during unloading or installation. Any replacements will be billed entirely to the customer. 
  • We are not made responsible or liable for any damages, modifications, or customizations made by a third-party.


Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for all assembled cabinet orders. 
  • We will not replace or exchange items if they have been installed, altered, modified, customized, or assembled outside of FAO Cabinetry (Furniture A Outlet LLC)
  • For exceptions, cabinets must be returned in their original and resalable condition, including packaging, within 7 days of delivery/pick-up date. FAO Cabinetry will apply a restocking fee of 25% to 40% depending on the cabinet style or color. Restocking fees are applied to the total sale amount after discounts. FAO Cabinetry will not refund for services completed, including but not limited to assembly or delivery. 


Product Use & Installation

  • Furniture A Outlet LLC is not responsible for improper installation, misuse, or modifications made after delivery. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
  • Should Furniture A Outlet, LLC provide you will a design or blueprint for your project, the Customer must follow the design and/or blueprint correctly. We will not be exchange, refund, or accept returns if you choose not to follow the plans correctly. Once a customer confirms a quotation, they confirm that the design and measurements were verified as accurate. 
  • Any installation guides or recommendations are provided as a courtesy and do not constitute liability.


Warranty Disclaimer

  • Manufacturer warranties may apply to certain products. Furniture A Outlet LLC does not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer.
  • Failure to pay any amounts due in full may suspend or void any applicable manufacturer warranty or warranty-related rights, to the extent permitted by applicable law, until full payment is received and collected. We reserve the right to withhold warranty claim assistance while an account remains past due.
  • We disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. 


Limitation of Liability

  • FAO Cabinetry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to project delays, labor costs, or loss of use.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the products.


Contractor & Trade Professionals

  • Contractors, designers, and trade professionals are responsible for verifying all measurements, specifications, and quantities prior to ordering.
  • FAO Cabinetry is not responsible for errors in plans, measurements, or project execution provided by third parties


Storage & Abandoned Orders

  • Orders must be picked up or scheduled for delivery within a reasonable timeframe after notification of availability. Storage fees may apply. Orders left unclaimed beyond 90 days may be considered abandoned.


Force Majeure

  • We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, or transportation delays.


Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditional shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois


Agreement

  • By placing an order with Furniture A Outlet LLC, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full
